Our Products
We primarily work with overhead sectional doors and roller shutters for industry and logistics. We also offer complete solutions including loading docks, dock levellers, weather seals, swing doors and folding doors.
Service & Maintenance
We offer service contracts for all types of power-operated doors. According to Swedish building regulations, power-operated doors must be serviced regularly. We ensure your doors always operate safely and efficiently.

Prius builds what few others can
Over the years, Prius Portar AB has been entrusted with installing many custom-built loading docks and doors where other companies have declined. We take on the projects that require something extra.
Sectional Overhead Doors
Sectional doors are the most common door type for industrial and logistics facilities. The door opens vertically and slides under the ceiling, providing maximum clear opening without taking up space outside the building.
Benefits:
- Maximum clear opening — the full door width can be utilised
- Excellent thermal insulation with sandwich panels (U-value down to 0.5 W/m²K)
- Quiet and smooth operation with chain or direct drive
- Long service life with minimal maintenance
- Available with window sections for daylight
Roller Shutters
Roller shutters are the space-efficient alternative where ceiling space needs to be kept free. The door curtain rolls up on an axle above the opening, taking up minimal space.

- Premises with limited headroom above the opening
- Garages and parking structures
- Industrial doors requiring fast opening
- Facades where aesthetics matter
About Prius Portar
Prius Portar AB was founded in 1992 by Kjell Ginstmark, a construction engineer, who started the business in his garage at home. What began as a one-man operation has grown into an established company with loyal customers in industry and logistics across western Sweden.
Today the company is run by Sven Ginstmark, combining decades of hands-on experience with a genuine commitment to quality.
